Brazil has made the fight against inequality and climate breakdown central to its agenda as chair of the G20 in 2024 and has invited Norway to attend.
Oxfam is following the G20 process closely and has released two high profile reports on inequality, one ahead of the COP and one most recently ahead of Davos.
This seminar will discuss the Brazilian G20 and the participation of the Government of Norway, and the major opportunities this represents to push forward a progressive agenda around inequality, taxation and climate change.

▪️ Amitabh Behar, Executive Director of Oxfam International, will present key findings from Oxfam’s recent reports and share the latest intelligence on the Brasil G20, ambitions and opportunities.
▪️ Deputy minister of Development Bjørg Sandkjær will talk about the Norwegian governments work on inequality and ambitions for G20.
▪️ You will also hear from Secretary General of Norwegian Church Aid Dagfinn Høybråten.
Afterwards there will be a meet and greet with the Oxfam team.
