In 2011, The House of Literature gratefully inherited the Sci-Fi-enthusiast and author Tron Øgrim’s extensive science fiction collection. It is displayed in decorative bookshelves along the walls in Nedjma.

Nedjma is pronounced as Nedschma and means "star" in Arabic. It is also the title and name of the main character in Kateb Yacine's novel from 1956, a novel that is central to the postcolonial literary tradition.

Nedjma can be rented in combination with one or more of our other rooms. We provide direct audio and video transmission on the big screen.
