Wergeland
The House of Literature's main hall, located on the ground floor. The hall can accommodate up to 200 people.
Wergeland is Litteraturhuset's main hall and can accommodate up to 200 audience members. The hall is named after Henrik Wergeland. The stage curtain by the artist May Bente Aronsen is a decorative element that adds both intimacy and atmosphere to the hall.
The hall can be rented in combination with one or more of our other halls, such as Skram. We provide direct audio and visual transmission on a large screen.
Please note that when using Wergeland, you must always hire one of the house's own technicians.
